The buzz around Lincoln Park is that a pitcher for the Oakland Athletics lives here. I'm not going to violate his privacy by saying who it is, but I checked the A's website under the name and have definitely seen the guy outside his house. And he actually plays, he's not a bench warmer. Yet another Oakland-Pomona connection.
I've already seen an abundance of humming birds this Spring. Speaking of which, actor Tom Arnold tweeted from and about Pomona in recent days. All from the safety of his trailer, or "shit box" as he likes to call it. Tom was recently added to the cast of The Curse of Downers Grove movie to play an abusive father. Don't worry, he didn't abuse our reputation too much.

From @TomArnold: Lil Wayne is alright but I've still got 90 minutes crammed in the back of this shit box before we get to Pomona.
To @TomArnold What are doing there a film?
@TomArnold New York? U in my hood Tom?
Tom didn't seem too thrilled to be here, but I'm guessing he never took a moment to smell the roses at Lincoln Park, much less look out the windows of his trailer. But, hey, by staying inside at least he didn't get stung by a bee. I'm thinking that would have made him even grumpier about being here.
